About Minnesota
What to wear in Minnesota changes with our changing seasons. We've had questions from some who have never visited Minnesota asking if we always wear parkas ...and a few have asked if people here still live in igloos. We do love parkas and other warm clothing in our cooler/colder months. You can also find some people who build an igloo in winter just for fun and not to live in.
Our other seasons vary in temperature. Summers are as warm as many southern states; warm and we don shorts, bathing suits, and for cooler days, a light sweater. When you are packing to visit Minnesota, check the weather report in advance and pack accordingly.
Most family vacation destinations in Minnesota include beautiful family vacation resorts, cabins, and dozens of state parks and many other top family vacations spots.
