The St Paul Farmers Market offers organic farm food and is an outlet for local organic food retailers.

Saint Paul Farmers Market

The Downtown St. Paul Farmers Market is open from 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM on Saturdays from May to November and Sundays from 6:00 AM to 1:00 PM late April - mid November at 290 E Fifth St, Saint Paul MN 55101 in Lowertown.

(You will find the market inside Golden's Deli during the winter months).

All products sold at the market are locally produced. Part of the fun of going to the market is meeting the merchants and hearing about their farms and family businesses. The prices are reasonable for high quality fresh food.

The Farmers Market is within walking distance to many other St. Paul attractions and activities in Lowertown. Convenient parking close to the market is available if you arrive early. You can almost always find on street parking within a block or two of the market location.

Live music is often offered by local musicians and adds wonderful ambience to the shopping experience.

Just some of what you can buy includes:

  • High quality selections of meats, cheeses, organic produce, breads, gift items and even some housewares.
  • Street food to enjoy while you shop or to take home with you. (Asian food, cheddar dogs and roasted corn are just some of what you will likely find).
  • Minnesota food items that are traditional to our diverse cultures.
Do you ever come home from the market with an armload of fresh goodies and then wonder what to do with them? You need a copy of Cooking from the Farmers' Market

The St. Paul Farmers Market is by no means the only Farmers Market in the Twin Cities area.

Other markets and places to buy fresh food: Minneapolis Farmers Market open from late April through October.  An adjunct market can be found on the Nicollet Mall on Thursdays.

Saturday mornings (mid-May to mid-October) you can shop the Mill City Farmers Market.
