Our photo albums include many pages of Lake Superior photos with the greatest of the Great Lakes as the main attraction.

Most family vacation destinations in Minnesota include beautiful family vacation resorts, cabins, and dozens of state parks and many other top family vacations spots.

We have photos of memorable camping trips in the Minnesota State Parks where our tent is pitched on the lakeshore.

Other photos of Lake Superior were taken from the deck of our favorite cabin...that juts out over the shore of Lake Superior.

Our children and grandchildren are now adding their own Lake Superior photos and memories.

We hope you have your own memories and photos and, if you don't, that you will soon remedy that with a trip along the North Shore.

All along the North Shore of Lake Superior, from Duluth to the Canadian border, you will find stunning vistas that you can't help but stop to photograph.

The lake itself is so vast that you are sure you are on the shores of a mighty ocean. At times the blue of the lake and the blue of the sky merge into one azure seascape. More frequently than in any other location I've known, a rainbow will arch across the sky above the lake.

Minnesota vacations along the Lake Superior North Shore are some of the most popular among visitors to our state as well as Minnesota residents.

Hundreds of our family photos feature our kids, and grand-kids, climbing the wave splashed rocks at the edge of the great lake. Other photos show the entire family crawling along the shore, eyes down, looking for Lake Superior agates.

For those prefer Duluth Minnesota vacations, your Lake Superior photos can be of the unique lift bridge in the harbor, the merchant ships from around the world as they enter the harbor under the lift bridge, the "tall ships" celebrations in summer and beautiful views of the lake from your hotel balcony in Canal Park.

Travel farther along the Lake Superior shore to see the beautiful waterfalls and rock formations that make this region of Minnesota so unique. Scenic drives along Lake Superior in autumn are so popular that area hotels are booked months in advance.

Winter changes the landscape and lakescape. Amazing Lake Superior photos of Lake Superior ice formations and snowy scenery draw many photographers. Minnesota state parks and landmarks, like Split Rock Lighthouse, along the shore are clothed in snow. Again, making for some stunning photos.
