Dinner at the Lake--Feb 10, 2018
by Audubon Center of the North Woods
(Sandstone, MN, USA)
After a wonderful banquet dinner in our beautiful lakeside dining hall, learn all about the world of coffee from Eric Faust of the Duluth Coffee Company. Eric, Duluth Coffee Company owner and roaster, has worked as a barista, trainer, green bean buyer, consultant and United States Barista Championship Judge. Traveling around the world from Italy to Atlanta to Portland, he has visited cafes and roasteries at the cutting edge of coffee. Training at the Counter Culture Headquarters in Atlanta and passing the SCAA Sensory Skills examination, Eric has developed a discerning palate for coffee and green bean selection. Eric will talk about his travels to coffee producing countries, and what birds and ecological preservation means to the coffee that they source and roast. Appetizers start at 6:00 p.m.; presentation following dinner. Call 888-404-7743 for reservations
