University of Minnesota Football Team

The Golden Gophers

The University of Minnesota football team, is nicknamed "the Golden Gophers." Team colors are maroon and gold.

University of Minnesota football team head coach, Tim Brewster, is optimistic about the Golden Gophers in 2008 despite last season's disappointments.

Brewster expects a superb performance from quarterback Adam Weber. He is excited about how the team's running game is developing and about the results of his recruiting efforts.

And every University of Minnesota Golden Gophers fan and supporter is excited about the move into a brand new on-campus stadium next season.
