Texas on Tour Comes to the Minnesota State Fair

Texas on Tour, an annual road show bringing the Texas experience to consumers in nine different regions nationwide. They will be making a stop at the Iowa State Fair from August 11-August 21 and the Minnesota State Fair from August 25-September 5.

This Texas-on-wheels show will stop at regional events and fairs with interactive activities and entertainment that allow participants to discover and learn about all that Texas has to offer for its guests.

Texas on Tour’s multi-sensory activities touch on various regions of Texas. One activity includes a virtual kayaking adventure, where consumers will get to virtually explore four of Texas’ waterways, such as the Gulf of Mexico and Rio Grande. Another activity includes taking pictures in front of backdrops of famous attractions in Texas and sharing them on Facebook. Additionally, there will be opportunities where visitors can have a chance to win, such as a trivia challenge in the Discover Texas theater for prizes, and a sweepstakes where entrants can possibly win a trip to Texas. Live entertainment by unique Texas musicians will also be at each tour stop, which is open to everyone.
