Camping in Minnesota is a great way to immerse yourself in the outdoor activity and natural beauty that is part of a memorable Minnesota vacation.
Campgrounds in Minnesota can be enjoyed in every part of the state. You can go camping in Minnesota just a few miles outside the Twin Cities metro area or escape to a primitive campground in the north woods. Many Minnesota campgrounds are located in areas where you can explore historical and geologic attractions. Most campgrounds in Minnesota are locsted on, or near, the shores of our beautiful lakes and rivers. Opportunities abound for hiking, swimming, fishing, bird watching or just relaxing by the campfire.
