Minnesota Adventures

Adventures in Minnesota Cities,
Country and Wilderness

The Minnesota adventures that are perfect for you may be entirely different from what other adventurers to Minnesota are looking for.

For many, the ultimate experience is in the wilderness or on the water. Minnesota can accomodate those desires in abundance. Others who want to explore the North Star state are seeking city experiences and want to know where the little known activities are to be found.

You may want to be out of the city, yet not in the wilds. There are unending possibilities for you as well in the rural, small town and country areas of Minnesota.

Wilderness Adventures in Minnesota

You can leave civilization by way of a paddle in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness and adjacent Quetico Provincial Park.

Push off from your starting point in a loaded canoe. Above you soar spires of dark spruce and pine. Beneath you lay a lake's dark waters, inviting adventure, a path to the unknown.

In the Boundary waters, one lake gives way to the next, rivers run into each other, portages challenge and confidence grows.

Get yourself a good Boundary Waters map and begin to plan the trip of a lifetime!

For more Minnesota adventures in our wilderness areas, check out Minnesota's State Parks. and Minnesota's National Parks and Forests.
