Learning to Ice Skate More kids are learning to ice skate as the popularity of both figure skating and ice hockey increases.

Ice skating is a perfect sport to entice a kid away from video games and TV during the winter months. While figure skating is seen primarily as an individual accomplishment and hockey is a team sport, learning how to ice skate provides similar benefits no matter which form is tried.

Ice skating will help a child to:
