Interstate State Park
Interstate State Park is a Minnesota State Park located on the Minnesota and Wisconsin border at Taylors Falls. This is both one of the most scenic, and also most popular state parks.

Interstate is the second oldest in the Minnesota state park system. One of the most beautiful sights anywhere is Minnesota are the pine covered cliffs that rise 200 feet up from the St. Croix river. This makes Interstate Park a favorite rock climbing destination.
Another stunning feature of this park are the glacial potholes that were formed by the torrential waters of melting glaciers. There are over 200 of these potholes here, including one that is 60 feet deep. See them by hiking the Pothole Trail. Part of this trail is wheelchair accessible.
Interstate State Park's attractions include:
- Starting from the parking lot, hike the trails to the glacial potholes that are unique to this area.
- Hike to the scenic overlooks along the St. Croix River.
- Watch the rock climbers who flock to scale the park's cliffs.
- Kayak or canoe on the waters of the St. Croix.
- Take an excursion boat ride down the St. Croix in Taylors Falls.
