by Delight
(Minnesota)

The Lake of the Isles Ice Skating Rink is located at
2500 Lake Isles Pkwy
Minneapolis, MN 55405

You can call (612) 230-6400 for information.

Lake of the Isles Park is part of the Chain of Lakes Regional Park system and a popular Minnesota ice skating location.

Lake of the Isles is an "engineered lake", that was created in the early part of the 20th Century. The Park Board dredged what was originally a shallow lake and marsh complex and used the dredged material to create parkland and ultimately, this stately and picturesque park.

Lake of the Isles Rink is an outdoor rink that is open from December 15th to February 15th.

Ice skating, hockey and a New Year’s Eve party complete with hot chocolate and roasted marshmallows are part of Lake of the Isles’ winter tradition.

Call for public skating times and, as well, to learn about pick up hockey games for adults and youth.
