Riverboat on the Mississippi
We love to explore the Mississippi River on modern-day replicas of the grand old river boats that plied the Mississippi River in the late 19th Century. These are some of the few authentic Mississippi River paddlewheel river boats still in operation in the country today.
Depart from Harriet Island in St. Paul, sit back and enjoy historically narrated public sightseeing excursions that run for about 1 1/2 hours.
Along the way you will see the St. Paul High Bridge, Pig's Eye's Cave, Minnesota River mouth, Pike Island, Fort Snelling, and the beautiful scenery of the mighty Mississippi River.
You'll have the opportunity to spot bald eagles, herons, egrets and falcons as you travel from St. Paul’s downtown harbor through the Mississippi National Great River Park.
