Camping First Aid Kit

A camping first aid kit should be a high priority on your camping list.
Camping First Aid Kit Packing personal medications should be a first priority in creating a first aid kit for camping. After that, add the basics like bandages, adhesive tape, antibiotic ointment, pain medication, calamine lotion, sunburn treatment, insect repellant, scissors and tweezers.

Obviously it is not possible to be totally prepared for every possible medical situation that might occur while camping. You may want to bring as many items as possible or, if you are a hiker or backpacker, you will want to bring only what fits within your restricted packing guidelines.

You can use any appropriate tote bag, backpack or covered container to hold your homemade camping first aid kit. Just be sure it is waterproof and easy to carry. If you choose to purchase a ready-made first aid kit, there are several recommendations below. The first is the most extensive, the second the most basic and the third an "in between" size.

Camping First Aid Kit The Master Camping First Aid Kit may be the ultimate "be prepared for anything" camping first aid kit. It contains more than 233 items and is great for camping and to take along any time you are enjoying Minnesota outdoor activities.

Add this assortment of first aid supplies to your camping list if you are part of a large group activity like a bike trip, snowmobile trek or a family reunion, Someone is sure to need something contained in this kit.

Camping First Aid Kit The Lifeline 99-Piece Trail Light First Aid Kit is one great example of a camping first aid kit that is large enough for you to feel well prepared yet compact enough to be included on the camping list for any type outing.

The soft sided case makes this first aid kit a good choice for many uses. We carry one this size with our camping gear, another in each of our vehicles and have another that goes in the boat for fishing trips.

Don't leave home without one!
