Super Bowl Snack Ideas and Recipes

Even though “our team” is not in the Super Bowl, most of us will watch. One other thing we will do is eat! Here are a couple of our favorite quick and easy snacks:

Sliced Apples with Salted Caramel Dip - Slice apples into even slices. Place them in a bowl of water with 2 tsp. of lemon juice added to avoid browning.

Carmel dip: Use any purchased caramel sauce, warmed. Add a couple of pinches of salt. Arrange apple slices on a tray with a bowl of dip in the center.

Stuffed Medjool Dates - Pit the dates and fill them with chopped pecans or dollops of nut butter.

We created an entire page of appetizer ideas for our Christmas pages, however these are great for any gathering. Here is the link: Appetizer Recipes

While we are watching the game, I like to have something ready for a hearty “after the game” meal. Casseroles, or as we call them in Minnesota…Hot Dishes…are the logical choice. We have recipes for those as well, including the all-time favorite, Tater-Tot Hot Dish. So easy! Hot Dish Recipes

Whether or not your favorite team wins, you can keep everyone happy with some tasty food and drink!
