2008 Republican Convention

As lifelong Minnesota residents and residents of St. Paul, we are excited to welcome visitors who have come to attend the 2008 Republican Convention.

There are lots of details and logistics about the convention on this page.

Here we want to introduce you to the neighborhood and give you an idea of the fun you can have here in St. Paul.

We live in the historic Dayton's Bluff neighborhood, which is less than a mile from the site of the convention. Our home on the bluff has a beautiful view of the Minnesota State Capitol building and the downtown area.

St. Paul is considered to be the arts and culture center of Minnesota. While we don't want to encourage you to be absent from the convention, there are some places you just must NOT miss while you are in beautiful St. Paul.

Within walking distance of the convention location, you can tour the beautifully restored Landmark Center. Among the many attractions within the Landmark Center are the
